Review of the Legend of Korra

The Legend of Korra
A sequel to Avatar the Last Airbender takes place 70 years after the story of Ang, Katara and Sokka. Ang the loveable young boy has grown up and married Katara. Along with Sokka and Prince Zuko, Ang and Katara have set up a new city where both benders and non-benders can live in peace and harmony. Ang has died and things have begun to unravel. It’s up  Katara and Ang’s son Tenzin, father to 3 Airbending Children to teach the new avatar Korra of the Water Bending tribe of the south how airbend, the last and most difficult of elements she must master. If Korra can’t learn to airbend and help restore balance then enemies of Republic city will rise and peace will die.

Ok let me start off by saying that is not the story of Ang, gone is the innocent fun loving boy we fell in love with. This is Korra’s tale and it’s awesome. The effects, bending techniques and world have changed for the better. I have only seen the first episode so I can only say 4.5 outta 5 Flowers for this one and with the hint of the villain looming I think it may even get better.

4.5 flowers
