Time’s Ticking Away
It’s time for a Slice of Life Update…
My new book, Child of the Loch, is in the throws of rebirth also known as editing. I don’t really know how other authors define it but for me it’s adding, subtracting, fixing errors and making it the best it can be. I have to change the release date but keep your eyes peeled for the new cover. I found some awesome art that I think will make it great. I’ve had to move the release to December to ensure that you the reader are receiving my best work. I know the end product will be worth the wait!
I just applied for a book lover’s dream job….Library Assistant. I’m hoping that I can get it. It will take a little time out of my internet life but I’m very happy with the prospect of really living…making connections in the real world and offering new ways to serve authors.
Also one little tidbit on the Adventures in the Tardis:
Last night I was grabbing my sleeping mom’s remote to turn off the TV (who needs a high electric bill!) As I reached for it, my mom’s eyes popped open and she let out a scream that could wake the dead. Startled and frightened I screamed back. Now let me tell you I don’t scream like a girl I scream like a guy…I don’t talk like one and I don’t have a deep voice but dang I go down an octave not up. So the contrast in her soprano and my baritone sounded like a screech owl’s opera. Apparently, I brushed against her and she didn’t know was was happening. She levitated off the bed and I tried to make a new door way slamming into the wall making a insta-ninja tiger claw move. When we were done freaking out, it gave us all a good laugh. It was good for our souls because cheese and crackers we are wound tight around here.
